Today was a GREAT day. I bet you can't guess why.... today I got a package from home!!! Here are the wonderful things it contained:- a bag of Jet Puffed Marshmallows (for smores of course)
- lots of different kinds of cold medicine (I get sick a lot)
- TWO boxes of funfetti cake mix
- many fiber one bars
- my bible
- some new Victoria Secret undies
- Picture frames with pictures of my family in them
- and, from my sister, pink polka dot footy pajamas with a cupcake on it :)
Nothing felt greater than getting a call from the office telling me a parcel had arrived for me. Even though I was expecting it, it made my day to rip the tape off and pull all the items from home out of the box. I realized today that I'm really enjoying myself. Although I still get homesick, it's great here. I don't know why I ever let my desire to be home keep me from seeing how wonderful this place is. I still have so much to see of this country and I can't wait to explore even more.
