MIS 2200 Assignment #3

Well I just got done watching the Super Bowl. Woohoo Saints! What a game! They were not doing very well in the first half but they picked it up and came out on fire in the second half with that on sides kick! So I was happy that they won. I was not happy with the quality of the commercials this year. They just were not that good! I mean there were a couple of good ones, but the majority of them did not live up to my expectations. According to BNET.com, "Times have changed. For Super Bowl XLIV advertisers paid $3 million on average during the New Orleans Saints-Indianapolis Colts faceoff. The audience has increased too — the previous four Super Bowls all had more than 90 million viewers each." During the first Super Bowl in 1966, advertisers only had to pay $42,500 for a 30 second commercial. And the reason you didn't see any Pepsi, General Motors, or FedEx commercials was because they thought that it wasn't worth it anymore, as it says on BNET.com. I agree with them. That is a LOT of money. Let's just hope next year is better. I will leave you with one that I really like in particular.
