recapitulate

So it's been about two months since I last wrote... I would say sorry, but I've been busy. So get over it :) I keep thinking that I needed to wait until something really cool happened in my life for me to write again, but once something did happen, I'd say I'd wait for the next one. But when I finally realized that about a million things have happened, I have decided to sit down and type, of course my attention is not just on this (I'm watching Narnia), so forgive me if the grammar is not up to par.

The last time I wrote, it was the end of September and Lexi had just gotten married, and not to much has changed. I'm still working a lot and I love my job. But even if nothing has changed, LOTS has happened:

Unlike all the other students at Utah State, I did not go anywhere for Fall Break. I didn't even have to work. But since no one was up in Logan, apart from me and three of my roommates, we decided to take advantage of that: We went to Lagoon! It was such a good day. We took front runner down to Salt Lake, so Analise could get one of our amazing shirts, and then back up to Farmington to go to Lagoon. Tanisha, Analise and I made our way around the park and went on many rides. Then Em came down and met us and we finished up and then drove home. It was such a great day! All of us had on matching shirts that got us a lot of very interesting looks. Here, take a look for yourself:

Another things: I volunteered at the HOWL. In case you've been living under a rock for the past couple of year, the HOWL is the biggest Halloween party thrown in Utah and it is put on by USU. Well since a couple of my roommates are really involved with school activities they needed a couple of extra people to volunteer and help out. So Analise, Tanisha, Emilee, MD, and I helped out. Emilee and I, specifically were in charge of taking tickets and putting wrist bands on people. It was quite an adventure. Em took the tickets and I put the wrist bands on. In a matter 3 hours, I personally put on over 1500 wristbands. It was crazy! I even got bitched out by this guy for not letting his girlfriend in. Oh well, it was fun :) The best part was when I actually cut a girls wrist. I was cutting off the extra pieces of wrist band and I actually got some skin! Don't worry I stopped doing the cutting after that. But it was a great night and I had a ton of fun! I even got a free shirt out of it. Okay, lets be honest, that probably 95% of why I decided to do it :)

On Nov. 11, apart from it being my dad's birthday, I had a huge project due in my fashion class. It was called "Recycle and Redesign." We had to take recyclable materials and make it into an article of clothing. My group was assigned "The Great Outdoors." So we decided to make a dress out of the beautiful, colorful fall leaves. It actually turned out pretty cool. And I actually had to model it! We actually had to walk down the runway and strike a pose! And it was even in front of like 200 people! It was so much fun. Here is the final product:

And last, but CERTAINLY not least, because I have a wonderful sister who likes to shop a whole lot, a couple of weeks ago, on one of my weekends at home, I went on a little shopping spree at Nordstrom. It was the biggest shopping spree I've ever been on! And because I spent so much money, they gave me these really cool gifts: NEW MOON TICKESTS!! AND TO THE NIGHT BEFORE IT PREMIERED!! So on the 19th, at 9:30, Caiti, Analise, Tanisha, Lexi and I drove down Orem to go to the movie. Yes, we had to go to Orem bc the tickets were only good down there for some reason or another. It was so much fun! The drive, standing in the cold, telling high school boys to grow a pair, and actually watching the movie. I certainly wasn't disappointed. And because I wasn't allowed to take my camera or my phone into the movie, I have no pictures to show for it. So I'll just leave you with this:

Okay. Wow. Sorry. Let me catch my breath.

So with all these wonderful things happening, you have to stop and think, "Isn't it too good? What's going to go wrong now?" right? Yeah, not one of the first things to run through my head. Cuz just this week I've had to put a lot of money into my car. My poor, poor car. And its still not even fixed!!

But next week is Thanksgiving and I have many things to be thankful for. One of which is my ability multitask. I mean, I am writing this really long entry AND watching a movie. Pretty talented right? Yeah, that what I thought. But the movie is getting really good so I'm going to stop typing now. But from now on I'm going to write more often so all my entries don't have to be so long. Until then, I leave you with three words:

TAYLOR LAUTNER. YUM.
